Makes snorkeling so much better
The media could not be loaded. If you want to take great pictures and have the fish swimming to you get this food for snorkeling. I placed mine in a plastic bottle so the food would last longer. However the bag the food comes in is biodegradable. I never go snorkeling without having this fish food.

It works great.
Is it ethical to use fish food, I'm not sure. I understand the debate if everyone feeds the fish then they become dependent on snorkelers/divers for food and lose their natural skills. I still used to attract tropical fish in French Polynesia. I got great photos with my water camera because of the food. I didn't use it often, but when I did it sure worked.

but the other fish were awesome. But be prepared to get rid of it ...
Use this and every fish within 1/2 mile will come and say hello. The barracuda that showed up was a little scary, but the other fish were awesome. But be prepared to get rid of it fast. The fish will bite it out of your fingers taking it.

Only trained fish eat it.
I guess the fish I was snorkeling with were not used to fish food and did not eat it. Make sure you don't accidentally spill any of it on personal items or on clothing. It smells awful. Nonetheless, I'd recommend it.

Really attracts fish and keeps reefs healthy
This fish food and the other 6 pack fish food Amazon sells works. I have used them both numerous times when I have gone snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean. The just this summer I took a cruise that stopped off at Princess Cay in the Bahamas that has a fantastic reef that is still very well preserved and the fish loved the food; I took a bunch of amazing underwater photos. It worked well in Rotan Honduras at another very healthy reef. Even just walking in along the beach and sprinkling the fish food the fish came, people had bread but they also came to the fish food. At Chankanaab Marine Park in Cozumel at the where the reef has sustained considerable damage from a past hurricane, I attracted an overwhelming amount of fish with the fish food. I attracted a large group of Goatfish and French Grunts, there were so many at times they even started nipping at my fingers to try and get the food out faster than I could push it out the tube.As a Aquatic Biologist I recommend and encourage everyone to feed the fish this food or any other of its kind when you snorkel on a reef, it is better for them and the health of the reef. If you snorkel or dive on a reef and want to keep them healthy also wear only non-chemical sunscreen, chemical sunscreen kills coral, so use ones that have only zinc or titanium like Bull Frog or Green Screen.
