Comfortable and effective
I received this as a gift for Christmas and loved it enough I had to send one to my cousin who just had shoulder surgery. She couldn't have been happier

Worked really well for 3 weeks, then died abruptly
This was a nice little neck & shoulder heater for a few weeks which I received as a gift. I really liked it. However, I was using it this morning and it made a loud popping noise, a lot of sulfur smell, and now it won't turn on. I read a few previous reviews that said this heating pad suddenly stopped working. I should have believed them.
