Works Perfectly
I received the Mailbox Alert Flag in good condition and on time. Had it set in place in less that five minutes and hadit working in no time at all. Very visible from my front window and it works great. The wind does not even disturb it. It will only come down to be viewed from my window when the mailbox door is opened then closed. This is a great flagging device and I would recommend it to any one with a Rural Mailbox.

Glad I tried iy
So glad I got this. Our mailbox is far from our house, but I can tell when this is down, so I know mail is here. Live in a rural area and our mail comes by car. Tried alarm one and the car blocked signal, so didn't work for us.

Simple, Visible, Fairly durable, Some Trimming needed for my mailbox.
My mailbox door handle required that I had to trim half inch off the top so the indicator would stay in the up position.. I also painted one side black when in the UP position with the original orange color in the DOWN position. It is visible from my living room window. The Double Sticky 'putty' tape made the installation quick and easy..

Works as advertised
I tried another type of mailbox signal device, the metal one that pops up - it only lasted two months.This one installs instantly with no screws, just a built in adhesive and functions just fine.

Not durable and poor design!
The hinge mechanism in the center of the unit where it snaps together, broke off the lower unit when I tried to snap it on the mailbox part. Not a good design and it takes very little to knock it off the mailbox, especially when a snowplow goes by!!I wound up designing my own using carbon fiber material and a larger lower section flag that can be seen easily 450 feet away in our driveway. Also, it’s too expensive for what you get!

This is great product. Easy to install on mailbox. You can buy this product on Ebay for $11.95 with paid shipping. Just look for same add on Ebay.

This does not fit all mailboxes
I will have to have someone cut this to fit my plastic mailbox...it is way too big to fit under the handle properly.The picture is deceiving.
