The weights are good quality

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to weights, and just wanted something cheap to use in my own home as I couldn't afford a gym membership. From my limited experience, I can still tell that these weights are definitely at the lower end of quality and if I'm honest, what I would expect for this price.The metal bars are pretty solid and the grips are fairly comfortable - although one of the nuts/screws had a small sharp bit that I cut myself on once or twice, but nothing a small file couldn't fix.The weights themselves are fairly average. They were packaged well and didn't show any delivery damage, but they weren't exactly made with love and care. The sand inside them is not always tightly packed, and they arrived covered in some kind of grease/oil, presumably from the factory - this was fairly easy to remove with a wet wipe and cloth.This being said, they are perfect for beginners like me, who don't necessarily have the money or time for a gym membership, or people that just need something cheap and cheerful for exercising at home.

Great set for the price. Matched my other set so I now have 4 bars. No more swapping weights around during my home work out schedule.

The price for these dumbbells was good, however the caps on the weights are a little loose and therefore the sand very slowly leaks out - not a big problem but a bit annoying...

I bought as a Christmas present for my son, he is very happy with them

Nice, I want to attain physical fitness and these have helped, better inside due to them being metal and it easily getting too cold to hold

One of the weights were damaged with sand leaking. Son disappointed. Replacement provided within a couple of days. Problem solved

the item is very good as you can change the weights and it is very secure
